How to read this
Adverse findings per 10,000 homes, by region.
Each tile shades a region by its rate of Housing Ombudsman maladministration and severe-maladministration findings per 10,000 social homes, over the last 24 months. Denominating by homes, not by case count, keeps regions comparable regardless of how many providers each contains, and means providers with no findings correctly dilute the rate.
Click a region to open its anonymised peer-cohort patterns: how providers distribute by size and by finding rate, and which complaint themes lead. These are aggregate counts. No provider is named, and regions with too few providers to report safely are suppressed. 217 providers without a confirmed region are excluded from the map and counted only in the national figure.
Per-landlord intelligence, benchmarks, and risk profiles are available to signed-in housing professionals. The public map is sector-aggregate by design.
